Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Terrible quality

The Epernay 9/10/2026

The ice maker did not function when it was installed. It was out of the window for return and therefore I had to work with repairs under warranty. After arranging for the service technician to come out, a new compressor was necessary. A week later, they returned to replace the compressor and after 3+ hours of working on the ice maker, the service tech set it up and turned it on and left but still no ice. Another service call has been requested. I would not recommend this product to anyone. It™™s appalling that Whirlpool customer service does not honor replacement of $1950 ice maker (which requires a separate $500 pump) that is broken and not functional after installation. While Whirlpool will contest this prior statement is inaccurate, you first have to exhaust having a service technician come out to do repairs. This has been a big waste of time and nearly 2 months after having it installed, it is still not working. This is a sad state were it is okay for large companies to sell ™broken™ appliances as new and you have to jump through the hoops of warranties and stipulations on their return policy.

Case 1/27/2026

I received this ice maker a little over two weeks ago and had it installed. After suffering some difficulties with its operation I complained to Whirlpool who is sending a tech to look at it. At the moment I am not pleased with its operation nor the responsiveness of Whirlpool regarding my problem.

Best under-the-counter ice maker ever!

Richard 8/15/2025

I've had this ice maker for about six months now, and I am prepared to say it's the best under-the-counter ice machine I've ever owned. Since I already had an electrical outlet and a gravity drain, installation was no problem, and the machine itself has given no problems. It simply goes about its business of making nice, neat, smallish ice cubes that don't clump together (as the ice in my previous machine did). It may not be the quietest model in the world, but it is not so noisy as to be a bother. I highly recommend this ice machine!

Not a good choice

G'Agers 6/16/2025

This was purchased for a senior center that is used 2 3 days a week. Ice maker seems to run almost constantly as it continues to melts hour-old ice to make new. Electric bill was up $20, water bill was up $8.25. Definitely not what we needed.

This purchase replaces another Whirlpool ice machine that lasted over 14 years. This newer model is quieter, and the ice quality is pleasing.

Perfect size ice cubes

Recker 7/1/2024

I have owned several undercounted ice makers over my life Time and have stuck with the same model ice maker for 40 years. The machine is relatively simply with only 4 parts that I have grown to know go out after a few years of use. Pump, Thermistor, wire coils that melt sq cubes, and evaporator pump. Great machine that carries several manufactures names.
