Factory installation crew was sub par

I waited a month to get this refrigerator from the factory. It was at a good price and the installation was cheaper than the local stores. The delivery was a little early on the day scheduled and the crew was friendly and young. They scratched the appliance and I had to touch up the paint. There were a couple plugs missing from the screw covers. Mostly, they did not remove the tightly applied plastic that covered the front of the freezer and fridge doors. The plastic film was extremely difficult for me to get off of the doors. It was very stressful and physically draining. The installation was only nineteen dollars, but I would have paid fifty if they would have removed the film coating. Beware of this when getting it installed.

Very nice refrigerator, but minor paint damage

The refrigerator arrived and the crew that unloaded and installed it were excellent. Once small corner of the door had the paint worn away caused by the styrofoam packaging. I contacted Whirlpool, was told they would send touch up paint, that was a month ago and still no paint.

refrig is only 1 month old already needed a technician to come out refrig would run constantly freezer to warm refrig to cold tried all different settings finally got mad unplugged it and hopefully doing that and technician doing some adjustments we will see ,ordered a new control module just in case this replaced a 30yr old whirlpool that never had a problem

My refrigerator was delivered approximately 2 1/2 weeks ago and I am very disappointed. This was a special order and I waited awhile for it. The freezer section has ice forming on the front . I lowered the setting to low but it was at suggested level when I received it. This should not be happening. I think the door doesn't either fit properly or wasn't set up properly, I hope that it isn't with the motor. I will be contacting PC Richards on Tuesday. and request a service call and not at my expense. i have all Whirlpool appliances and never had a problem before. I tried to contact you but mail was declined, I think I deserve better service than this.

Frustration upon delivery

The refrigerator/freezer took a few days to finally get the temperatures close to correct in each, but it finally did. Our main frustration was with the shrink-wrapped film that was evidently applied before any trim pieces were added--we had to spend hours carefully trying to pull each inch out from under the trim at the top & bottom of the doors and around "buttons" without leaving little shreds of plastic that were so time-consuming and difficult to remove.

The "seal" on my refrigerator is no good. There is no suction at all when you open it. On the door of the freezer there is no underneath bar & all of the items fall out & onto the floor every time you open the freezer door. Extremely made very "junky" has NO LIGHT IN THE FREEZER.

My purchase date was July 6, delivery date was August 22 with several postponed dates along the way. In that my old refrigerator was not working well, that was pretty scary. Now, I am awaiting a Whirlpool repair visit because the door is not attached correctly, and the pins to cover screws on the handles do not fit this appliance. Also there is a scratch in the door. My overall rating of one star is< I think generous at this point.

It was delivered a week ago. It has lots of storage for the size. I bought it sight unseen except for a picture. My issue is that it doesn't have a kick plate and you can see the wheels and legs. So with that when they delivered and installed a shim was needed due to uneven floor. So now a block of wood along with the leg is visible and does not look great. So a kick plate would be great!!

Glad I bought extended warranty

Purchased in April , it took 7 weeks to be delivered from Whirlpool. Refrigerator door was BENT, bottom doesn't seal properly. Condensation forms on the inside of the refrigerator, drips and doesn't cool evenly. I immediately had serviceman here, new replacement door ordered. A little disappointed

I will start out by saying that there is no comparison with my 25 yr old fridge and this new one. By far, it is definitely not of the same quality as my old one. But then again, all new products do not have the quality of years ago. That being said, I did have the door switched to open on the right which was no problem. The freezer seal is not flush with the fridge causing condensation on the inside of freezer and the dealer has had to come and fix it twice, but to no avail. He will have to replace the bracket. Whirlpool has always been a good name and I hope this matter can be resolved.

Grateful for the smaller size in Biscuit. Actual handles and it was a winner for us. Now why three stars? The top freezer door will not close on its' own. Yes, we have walked away and mercifully closed it before any problems. Dealer (Melrose Mass) said nothing they can do. Last reason, this is a small. no frills fridge and the price and quality proves it. Other than the freezer door it seems fine. On the big plus it is quiet!

Waited a long time before the bisque color was available. Has nice features. Space issues in an older farmhouse determined the style. My old fridge had bins for the ice cubes from the trays. Not everyone wants to hook up waterlines for ice. That would be my only concern. Ask me in 5 years if it is still working.

Freezes food where it shouldn't

I purchased this refrigerator in May 2020, and soon discovered that food freezes in the refrigerator compartment no matter where I put the food.... front, side or back. The problem seemed to be air circulation, so I put a small, battery operated fan in the back of the refrigerator section. That solved the problem, but if I forget to check the batteries, and the fan stops operating, the food freezes. Very disappointed in the quality of this product.

Owned the refrigerator for one year and it is still not repaired. The seals in the doors will not stay in place and after one year whirlpool still has not repaired/replaced the defective doors. Great little fridge!

After my refrigerator of 17+ years stop working, I bought this as a replacement. I am very happy with the room the refrigerator provides and the amount of shelving. A great refrigerator with minimal space requirements!

The shelves in the freezer door are unusable due to the gaps™€¦..anything placed there falls through™€¦.what a stupid design. Also the freezer does not keep things really frozen, like ice cream. The refrigerator seems fine and I like the ease of opening and closing the crisper drawers.

Worst Refrigerator Ever

I purchased this refrigerator in 2016 and it barely lasted 4 years. In 2020 I had to purchase a new refrigerator. The refrigerator stopped cooling and could not be repaired. I reached out to Whirlpool based on the fact that the refrigerator was barley 4 years old and perhaps they could pro-rate it and compensate me. Because I didn't purchase an extended warranty there was nothing they could do. Needless to say I was highly disappointed because Whirlpool ranks high for good products and service. However, not in my case. Never again.
