I ordered this appliance in September and just recieved it in January. which was a little disappointing. We've had to have a repair guy come twice now because the door wasn't closing right and the water dispenser was dripping water. The repair guy came today to work on it, and as of now it is still dripping. He did say it could take a few days before it quits dipping. So we're not real impressed having the fridge for a month and all of those problems.

Biggest complaint is the color...black stainless steel is charcoal. My fault for buying online, not seeing it in person. Wanted black, but it said not fingerprint resistant. Black stainless was. So, I thought it was black color over stainless. Not charcoal...I'm totally bummed. Word to wise, buy in store!

The appliance is fine except for the lack of ease of use. We wanted a water dispenser and that was the main reason we chose this one. However, we do not like the two door fridge nor the freezer. Very little room. The refrigerator part lacks space for tall items, and the shelves in the doors don't hold much. You can't set things on the counter as you grab them because of the two doors. The water dispenser is great! The freezer has a large ice cube maker, with not much room in the three spaces left. To just put two pizzas in is difficult.

We ordered our French Door model wrf560ehv on 2/14/25 it was delivered on 4/4/2025 when we went to use the water dispenser large amounts of water came out from the back of the water filter compartment. I called Whirlpool service and was told a repair person would be out on 4/11 after the first date given they canceled due to their repair man was sick.4/11 came and went a no show.I called the Whirlpool service again and was told a repair man would be out on 4/18 from Goodmans repair and the water leak was fixed.

Bought this new refrigerator and it was delivered on 12/12/2024, it never cooled right and finally on 12/23/2024 it went completely out, lost $200.00 plus groceries from refrigerator and freezer. Took over 1 week for repairman to come and fix, the compresser fan was completely out in less than 1 month of received a brand new refrigerator and than waiting for over a week for repair, with no refrigerator during all the holidays, it was horrible.

Ordered the same model refrigerator in black, not black stainless on July 11th, 2024. It was supposed to be delivered on August 21st, then August 28th, then September, then October. After waiting 16 weeks, we went back to Mathus Appliance and changed the order to black stainless which was delivered the following week. In the mean time Mathus had loaned us, free of charge, a refrigerator to use. LOVE the refrigerator, but Whirlpool needs to get production straightened out. 16 weeks and no fridge......pathetic at best!!!!!!!!

The Fridge came with a slight bent in the left side of the door, the dispenser dispenses water diagonally like this , and the small fruit drawer is not aligned and always falls off its track. i scheduled a service and the tech wasn't helpful. he couldn't fix the diagonal water, and he said the issue with the fruit drawer is a common issue and has no fix.

Because of size restrictions, we were forced to purchase a smaller (20cu.) refrigerator. The previous unit was 25 cu. yet it fit our enclosure. The new (one month old) unit fit and finish is poor. Slide out trays are cumbersome to operate and one drawer does not fully close. The water temperature being dispensed on the outside of the door is tepid at best.

Overall I like the refrigerator. I thought the freezer and the refrigerator door storage would be more than it is. I have trouble finding space for tall soda bottles and some condiments. The adjustable shelf helps. We had to buy the refrigerator sight unseen. It was about the only refrigerator with an icemaker, water filter, black/black stainless and 30". This refrigerator 3 cubic feet smaller than what we had.

The thing I discovered is the you can not put a lot of tall items in the fridge, like milk and wine bottles. There is really only one small area that one could store taller containers, that being the shelf that has a removal section.

I waited 3 weeks for delivery and paid extra for an ice dispenser. Upon delivery I was informed that ice dispensers are not available on this size refrigerator. If I had been told that in the beginning I could have paid $500 less and had delivery 2-1/2 weeks earlier. To add insult to injury, less than three weeks after delivery the compressor failed and all my food spoiled. I waited 3 days for a repairman and have to wait 3 more for him to return with parts

One on the side and several in the back by the compressor. The new refrigerator was delivered on 4/11/24. On 4/19/24 the compressor failed. We had to move everything out of the fridge so it wouldn't spoil. I called Whirlpool the next business day, Monday 4/22/24, and got an appointment with a service contractor in our area. When I called them to confirm, they advised they could not work on that kind of compressor and that no one in the area can. They advised it's new and uses butane requiring specialty equipment that no one has. I called Whirlpool back and was advised, "Good news, you are getting a new fridge." I already had a new fridge, and now I'm down a fridge for who knows how long. Not to mention the another half a day at work for another delivery.

Paid a licensed plumber $200 to hook up the water line. Water worked. Two days later, no water. Made the plumber come back and check his work. Whirlpool sent a repair person. Ordered parts. Came back, made ™€œrepair™€, water worked. The following day (yesterday), no water again. BRAND NEW. 4 appts so far, still no water. This is insane.

Had the new refrigerator about a month now and we are extremely happy with it. It not only looks awesome but works great. Can't wait until we receive our other new appliances from Whirlpool.

Do not buy! You will regret it!

So disappointed. Bought this refrigerator in Oct 21™€™ the French door never really closed properly. The right side door dropped down from poor plastic piece not being able to hold the weight of the door. Now without that plastic cover door gets jammed on freezer. You have to lift the door up to shut! Now not sealing properly, then the door came off hanging by just the top! Contacted service they sent out a service person to take a look at the item they looked at it. It charged me $105 and told me that I needed a whole complete new door which cost $760 because the plastic piece couldn™€™t be replaced or a pool told me that my warranty no longer covered this issue! Gave me the option to buy a brand-new refrigerator for half the price! Why should I have to buy a new frig, after 3 years for a piece of plastic poorly made! Would no but from whirlpool again!

I bought this fridge about two years ago. After about a year the door will not close properly and the door will drop on to the freezer. I would lift the door a little from the bottom to close it. The door completely feel off and was only being held from the top. The silver handle for the icemaker also fell off. Attempted to speak to someone at Whirpool and was told my warranty is expired and nothing can be done except to pay out of pocket for repairs. Please do not purchase this refrigerator is you are looking for a sturdy, well worth it refrigerator. This refrigerator is not worth it for the price.
