Have had this for a month now. The placement of the overhead light for illuminating the cooktop is horrible. It's at the very back and does not fully light the cooking area. The front burners are dark. Wish the express time buttons went above 3 minutes.

I purchased this to replace an older model Whirlpool microwave that was still working. I was very happy to be able to use the same mounting holes in my cabinet and the same mounting plate. This made replacing it very easy. It took less than 10 minutes. The new one heats faster and is black stainless. I would recommend whirlpool, especially if you already have one.

This new model is a big improvement over my 15 year old one that seemed to be losing power. My only complaint is I wasn't warned about the information scrolling over what to me is a tiny screen. I have some vision issues, so have to stand on a stool to get close enough to the screen to understand the instructions. Maybe over time I will memorize what it is instructing me to do for the most frequently used functions. My sales person did provide me with a PDF which helps.

Delivery delays and lousy communication.

I am reviewing Whirlpool's service, not the product. I would review the product, but I still don't have it. The website promised delivery on 8/14 when I ordered this microwave on 8/10. This was reiterated via the email order confirmation. On 8/12, they sent a delay notice via email that it would arrive 1 day later on 8/15. On 8/13 they sent another delay notice that it wouldn't arrive until 8/18. 8/18 came and went, so I called on 8/19 to figure out what had happened. The whirlpool rep said that they needed to schedule delivery?!? Huh? What was the meaning of all the previous email traffic regarding delivery if they now needed to schedule delivery? At this point, they said the soonest delivery available was 9/2! Then, when I asked to speak with a supervisor, the call was disconnected. They claim it's there VOIP unreliability, not them just hanging up on a frustrated customer. The LG I currently have is crap, but if this is the level of service I can expect from Whirlpool, maybe I should try Samsung or GE.

Confusing Settings

I'm still learning the control panel choices. It's much more confusing than any microwave I've had before. Several choices require using 2 or more steps. The actual cooking works well (quickly and thoroughly). I like the choice of a "1-minute, 2-minute, 3-minute" quick start. I needed a microwave quickly, and if I had had more time to compare models, I would have chosen one with more convenient settings. I like "simple."

I think this unit looks great and works well. I wish it came with a user manual of some sort. A link to an online manual would have been okay, but a booklet you can hold in your hand while figuring out the various functions would have been ideal. Only an installation guide came with ™€" essential, yes but not enough. I suspect there might be some functionality that I™€™m not aware of, maybe I™€™ll fool around with it and see what I can find.

My new WMMS3330RV microwave is hardly the quality of the 7-year-old similar Whirlpool microwave I had to replace. Tried numerous times to activate DEMO (attempted by two intelligent adults) to get info on how sensor cook works. Unable to get DEMO to display. Would be so nice if Whirlpool included a comprehensive owner's manual. My unfortunate destiny: live with it.

Overall an excellent over the range microwave

Bought this to replace our previous Whirlpool microwave that had quit working, which had lasted almost 13 years. This one is as close as we could find to our old one. The biggest difference I noticed is, the power wattage is lower. Our old one was 1800 watts and the largest we could find now is 1,000 watts. We like how there is now options for changing the chime volume on the button tone, the chime when cooking is done also has 3 different volume levels but the loudest setting is still very low. The exhaust fan does have have an upgraded cfm compared to our older one, which is great in my opinion. I do highly recommend this over the range microwave.

Bought this Microwave, Range, and Dishwasher, all in Black Stainless. Love how they look and we have already baked in the new range. Dishwasher is very quiet, and microwave is very good!
