The noise level is considerably louder than my previous refrigerator. The shelving is acceptable, but the deli drawer is too small. Also, the bottom shelf on the door is poorly designed & difficult to reach. Finally, the ice maker was improperly Installed and a service call was required.

Overall love it. Spacious, bright, easy to see items and organize. Noisier than I anticipated, but reviews advised noise could be an issue, door gaskets are unbelievable, particularly the freezer. After having a refridgerator with lots of features, this is a pleasure to live with. Had bottom freezer, this top freezer is easier to see items and on the back. Also like glass shelves, nice and wide, easier to clean and minimal risks od drips. Just what I needed.

I love this 19.2 Cu Ft garage ready refrigerator, I needed one in WHITE but they hardly have any that come in white any more. Garage ready means HIGHLY INSULATED which means it will last a long time. I needed one with a larger freezer and this delivers. I can put twice the number of freezer items in it. I have only had it a couple days but it got 5 star reviews and I wanted one that would last a long time, I was told GE is great for longevity!

My refrig new came. With 2 damaged front doors. They were ordered and sat in my living room in boxes for a wk before I stalled. I noticed refrig not cooling properly™€¦Luke warm to slight cool, but I was not always here. Then fresh food was spoiling..molding..smelly refrig. I threw out SO MUCH FOOD! Repair came when doors were to be installed. The fan was totally broken. Part had to be ordered. On the 5th day it was installed, but would have been 6 days longer if I did not say I will not wait and you can pick up refrig. I am 74 yrs old. Nothing like this has ever happened. Now I am watching it as I hear at times a sound like water running. It may be part of defrost, but hoping. Aren™€™t refrig checked before they go put. I pay for install, but do t they see it?

I hate the shelving,it is so deep and LOW TO FLOOR HAVE TO GET ON FLOOR PRACTA ALLY TO FIND Nt thing in back part of it. Shelf on door bottom one have to go across the floor to see what is in it. This refrigerator can barely maintain adequate temperature at the lowest setting. It replaces a 25 year old Frigidaire of the same cubic ft capacity that would freeze milk if set lower that half the span of the temperature control. Also, due to the oversized freezer section it has a much smaller refrigerator section where more space is needed. One less shelf, miniscule crisper drawers. Everything in the refrigerator is lower due to the oversized freezer requiring you to get down on your knees to see items on the back of the lower shelf.

We™€™ve owned this unit for 2 + years and it™€™s in our garage. We noticed the freezer iced up this winter Maybe we had left it open? Unplugged it this spring, thawed it out, cleaned it and adjusted the temperature back to normal settings. Still icing up. Garage temp is probably 40 degrees dead of winter (it™€™s a heated garage) up to 85 in the summer. Also, fridge partner has stopped holding temp and we spoiled milk recently.

I am happy with the size of my new refrigerator. Fits in the space I have. I was thrilled the ice maker was available at the same time the refrigerator was delivered. Some we looked at had to be ordered separately and were back ordered. Getting accustomed to placement of items in this new refrigerator. It already made 3 batches of ice in just a few hours. Cooled to 40 degrees in fridge in just 5 hours.

The shelving sits much deeper and lower in the frig so I have to bend over and reach in much further. Not good for aging backs. I do like that I can put a pitcher in the door. Makes it easy to grab. Very Unreliable, Broke Three Times and Counting

DO NOT buy this without an extended warranty. If I could go back in time, I would NOT buy it at all. We purchased through GE directly Nov 2023. Last week I scheduled the THIRD repair on it. Almost exactly 1 year 4 months since it was delivered and it has required 3 repairs. While I love the repair business that comes to work on it, they never have parts on hand, so it takes 1-2 weeks to get the repair actually completed. If we didn™€™t need this unit, we would not have purchased it. I have been forced to throw out so much food, wasting so much money, because of not having anywhere to put the frozen and refrigerated items each time it stops working. You would have thought that GE, after having to repair it twice within 12 months, would have replaced it WITH a 3 year extended warranty (thankfully that's what we have on this one). I am giving 2 stars (and that™€™s being generous), 1 for the space available (when it works) and 1 for the awesome repairman who without a doubt is probably going to get tired of coming to our house! We are currently shopping for a small deep freezer for our garage. Needless to say, we will not be purchasing any other GE appliances after this experience. I have very little faith that GE is making reliable products.
