Overall it works just fine for the price, my biggest complaint is when you use the air fryer feature and open the door, it sets off an ear piercing beep that is very annoying. It's warning you that its hot but anybody that cooks will know that you can't cook with a cold stove or oven. There should be an option to shut it off or at least turn the loudness down.

Wanted to consolidate my appliances went with the GE 4 in 1. The price was reasonable and it's a name I trust. Using the convection oven it preheats fast, and is simple to set the mode and temperature with the touch pad. Used convection oven to cook meatballs with it, it's great job giving them a light crisp in about 25 minutes. The oven mode the fan runs after food is done to cool down the oven. The rotating plate cooks them evenly. Reheating pizza was fast in convection mod and consistent evenly melted cheese without soggy crust. The control panel is easily accessible and easy to read. to disable the child safety lock feature was simple instructions included. The microwave heats soup up fast. The oven is really quiet and microwave is quieter then my previous smaller wattage one . I would suggest downloading the instructions which is 20 pages or so. Overall Im very satisfied with this product and recommend buying it .

Not one guide on how to use any of the feature. It is larger inside than I expected and am very happy to have found this microwave with the convection and air fryer AND it is a 1000 watt machine - awesome. It does so much more for a small microwave (that's not actually small). It fit perfectly in a previous built in shelf and am very pleased with performance so far.

Just purchased the micro after reading very good reviews. It™€™s great so far in quietly rotating and heats well. My not giving 5 stars is™€¦. There isn™€™t a ™€œBEVERAGE™€ button. The machine has a sticker with very small print ( that, given the location, on top where if you clean, eventually it will deteriorate), that helps with needed to functions. So, finally I found the Beverage. Two separate buttons. The last GE micro had a button on the screen for that. I would rather have the POTATO cooking replaced with BEVERAGE reheat.

We were looking to decrease the the amount of appliances taking up our counter space, so when we needed a new microwave and air fryer, this was a no brainer. The unit is spectacular and really does what it is made for. The versatility to have a 2 in 1 really frees up space. The air fryer is great at cooking your food, and preset modes are really good at giving you crispy fries and other items. Please be careful though, because the unit is super hot after using this feature. You cant just go straight into microwaving directly after. Pre heating is fast though, and it is consistent with heating in both modes. It is powerful, so adjust what cook times you are used to with older microwaves. I do feel there should be another smaller air fry tray, because the original one is too tall for some objects if you are trying to bake. That is the only reason I gave 4 stars. The grip of the handle is also good for opening the door. This is a solid machine!!

Had this microwave for just over a year- was never really able to use the air fryer function, unless it was solely for something basic like chicken nuggets. Anything else, you™€™re better off just using an oven because it takes soo long. So, we ended up needing to have an air fryer out in addition to the microwave, even though my whole purpose for buying one they did both, was to free up counter space. We™€™ve always noticed a large amount of moisture build up inside, as well. To the point that after cooking anything with water, sauce, gravy etc- we™€™d have to wipe it down from top to bottom on the inside. I mean, it would be dripping down the sides and door. Within 6 mo, there was a rusty build up on the inside. The attached photos are of rust. The microwave itself is clean! We wipe it out after each use. But the build up is solely rust. The warning beeps have been annoying too, as others have stated. It locks back within seconds of stopping it. And when you open the door, it beeps and beeps and beeps, telling you that the food is hot. Just loud and obnoxious. Most recently, I went to push the button to heat something up, and it just pushed in all the way, and wouldn™€™t open. There is no alternate way to open the microwave if this happens either. Without taking it apart. My husband had to take the whole cover and front panel off, disconnect the wires, just to find where the issue was- which was a cheap plastic piece that unlatches the door, had snapped off of the part holding it together. We looked up the cost to replace just that part (because everything else essentially works fine) and through GE™€™s website, it™€™s $212. Dang near the price of a brand new one! The cheapest we found one anywhere else, was $96. For a plastic latch! So, an already fairly expensive microwave, completely useless after one year, because it™€™s made with a $100 piece of plastic. Just dumb. Also, when he took the cover off to find the broken piece, we noticed there was an extreme build up of RUST on the inside panel, from where the inside vent is, to let out moisture. Instead of coming out of the side vent, like it should- it™€™s just dripping down into the microwave itself! Very poorly designed and cheaply made. With way too expensive replacement parts. Luckily, I hadn™€™t thrown out my 20 year old microwave, and was able to bring it in from the garage, because my 1 year old, way more expensive one™€™s button doesn™€™t work. The old one works perfect. Just wanted something that looked nicer and had more functions so we didn™€™t need multiple appliances on the counter ðŸ™

A nice solid microwave

It's a nice heavy model that closes well and doesn't slide around. The reason not 5* is it has a ding on the front door and it was not level. We had to put little pads under two of the legs to level it but once it was, it was very stable. We have only used it as a microwave so far but it works well and feels a lot safer than the one we had.

So far, we are pleasantly surprised with this product. I was simply replacing a microwave oven and didn™€™t know that I needed this. It has freed up some counter space because I no longer need a separate air fryer. It is quiet and you can also choose to disarm the CHILD lock, so that is great for safety. It also is a very polite gadget. It operates smoothly and quietly and when your food is ready, you hear a polite beep not a blaring loud beep. I give this gadget of 4.5. I haven™€™t tried all of the modes, but I am excited because this definitely took us to the next level thank you GE for making a great product reasonably priced.

We had this microwave for 3 months. It was kind of noisy from day one but we just lived with it™€¦then my husband tried to microwave a baked potato and it just stopped working. They will not refund my money, only issuing a mail in rebate for a different GE microwave. This issue is that I paid $250+ for this microwave but the only other one I like is only $175 so it will be a loss.

Very poor design. Nobody takes any pride in their work. The convection fan turns on and off with the heating element defeating the purpose of a convection oven. The broiler element is not over where the food would be placed only heats the perimeter of the grill. All sides of the oven become dangerously hot in any mode but microwave. It needs some insulation. Because of that it takes forever to heat up that little space. It doesn't come with any instructions they expect you to spend more money having it printed out. Control buttons are very hard to see. Good: It is quiet when running

It is a bit early to give an honest review. After only a month there is no way to see if the appliance is going to be durable. That said, I am very pleased with this unit. The price was affordable and it can be used as the only cooking source. The air fryer works great however I have not done any combo cooking. It is the perfect size for a standard frozen pizza and cooks it very well. The only thing I don't like about it is that there seems to be no way to set the temperature manually. If something calls for a cooking temperature in between the prescribed temperatures on the controls, you are flat out of luck. Would be nice to have a way to set precise temperature. I see and use the cook time control when I microwave, but see no cook temperature. Great product in spite of that inconvenience.

Good Appliance, But the Alert Beeps Are Excessive

I actually like this unit, but it definitely has a few quirks. The microwave itself is very powerful, but the air fryer side is not quite as strong as I expected. I usually have to raise the temperature a bit and add a couple extra minutes to get food properly heated, but once I do that, it works fine. The biggest annoyance is all the beeping™€"wow, it™€™s noisy! When you open the door after heating something, it gives several ™€œhot™€ warning beeps. You can cancel the sound, but it™€™s still pretty annoying. Also, if you cancel the hot warning while it™€™s actively heating or air frying, it cancels the entire cooking program, so you need to pay attention to the remaining time in case you have to restart it. Overall, I do like the unit, and if you can live with those quirks, you™€™ll probably like it too. But if excessive beeping bothers you, this may not be the best choice. One nice feature is that you can disable the child safety lock, which allows the door to open without having to press unlock first and cuts down on some of the extra beeping.

Customers the turntable ring does not lock into the glass turntable. GE support sends parts but there the same and they still do not lock into each other. Support has really no answers. They just say return it and get something else. GE issues they really should take care of just in case of future problems. BUYERS BEWARE

This microwave is so small (narrow) it is hard to remove a dinner plate when you have two oven mitts on your hands. The control panel is not user friendly. You have to look up what all the number selection definitions are. Nothing is labeled with word descriptions. We do love the air fryer and convection features. This microwave runs hotter than the last microwave we owned.

1. The information for the microwave did not state that the Control Panel did not illuminate when in use. 2. The Oven Air Fry Insert is not covered by the microwave warranty, which was not stated in the original purchase information or in the instruction manual. The air fry crispy pan coating melted on the bottom of the pan when I used it the first time; therefore, I will not be able to use the air fry function anymore because the instructions state "Always use crispy pan with tall rack when Air Fry cooking". 3. Poor air frying design

This is a great idea to combine appliances but the air fryer rack sits so high that™€™s it is awkward to put the tray in and remove it. You are supposed to flip the food part way through and the space you have to access the tray makes it hard to remove and put back when everything is hot. Also, there is no rack to put in the air fryer tray to keep the food out of the grease which is the point of air frying isn™€™t it? Even if I had a rack to put in the tray there isn™€™t enough clearance between the air fryer rack and the top of the inside of the microwave. This is just poor design.

Absolutely this Microwave Oven - This one is an exact replacement for the one that I had and dropped while in the process of moving. Does everything I purchased it to do from heating leftovers and air frying chicken and is so very easy to keep clean. .

This was advertised as being Stainless Steel, however the only stainless steel is on the door trim and the interior. The oven itself is black! Not happy with that at all. Hopefully it will perform as indicated.

A bit small and you can't turn off the turntable

First off, I have no problem with the contrast of print on the buttons as others have mentioned. And the build quality seems nice, and I like the stainless interior and the interior light. Features are all good. But a few design flaws in my opinion, it's fairly small, especially depth. Like a regular size paper towel often gets knocked off when the turntable spins. And, on that subject, you can't turn off the turn table, not even for convection cooking, so you are limited to items and pans that can spin freely in the depth of the oven. So, you can't really even utilize the width. This is a huge design flaw in my opinion. Microwave works great. Convection works great. Air fry is not really any different than convection, the air fry "basket" has no holes to allow airflow underneath. I am pleasantly surprised that the outside stays pretty cool during "heated" cooking, especially important since mine is on a microwave shelf build into the upper cabinets.

Its beautiful, actually the best microwave iv ever owned and I dont use microwaves exceot to maybe heat my espresso. It literally stays clean even after my son's been here (28yr ) using it. Due to soild steel inside not cheap colored walls. Haven't tried the air Fyer yet, but I have my favorite AF and will stick with my ninja crispi for now. Cooks evenly, lots of easy features. Good Job GE.

Not worth the money, hardly lasted a year

I've had this microwave for a little over a year and it's already broken. When I tried to call to confirm if GE would honor the warranty as it had been less than a year and a half since I purchased, I couldn't get a human on the phone. Spent almost an hour on the automated system, but no luck, just going in circles. This was definitely not worth the money.
