Service Technician

This position is for an appliance service tech to work Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with some overtime, performing appliance troubleshooting and repairs in a professional, ethical and courteous manner.

You must have a positive attitude, take pride in your work, and be able to communicate well with customers and co-workers. Previous appliance service experience or training is required.

Qualifications

  • Appliance service technical degree or 2 years of relevant work experience required.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to pass drug and background checks.
  • Ability to operate a two-wheeled appliance dolly.
  • Must be able to safely lift and carry heavy objects multiple times per day.
  • EPA Section 608 refrigeration certification preferred.

Duties

Duties include diagnosing, repairing, and installing replacement home appliances: washers, dryers, ranges, microwaves, dishwashers, refrigerators and freezers.

Starting Wages

$24.00-$28.00/hour, based on experience.
